When can I take card payments?
As soon as you connect a payout account and Stripe verifies you — on every plan, Free included. Access is never gated behind a pricier tier; what changes as you climb is the fee. It falls from 4.9% on Free to 2.9% on Solo, 1.5% on Solo Pro, and down to 0.5% on Business Max. Stripe's standard processing applies on top, and cash, Zelle, and in-person are always free.
How does the platform fee work — and is it a commission?
No commission on your work. Two costs sit on a card payment: Stripe's standard processing rate (the industry cost of getting paid) and a small Seshy platform fee — a flat sliver of each payment that funds the booking, invoicing, and upsell engine that earned you the sale. It's not a cut of your sales, there are no per-feature charges, and money lands straight in your bank. Prefer to keep 100%? Build the fee into checkout so the client covers it.
What does Free actually get me?
Your booking page, your first 15 bookings, and real card payments once Stripe verifies your payout account — not a demo. The trade is the fee: cards cost 4.9% on Free versus 2.9% on Solo, so once you're taking about $600/mo in cards, Solo's $12/mo is already cheaper than the rate difference. Cash and Zelle stay free on every plan.
When should I move from Solo to Solo Pro?
Pay as you grow — and we'll tell you when to switch. Solo is the cheapest way to start; once you're booking regularly, Solo Pro's lower 1.5% fee saves you money (around $1,900/mo in card sales is the crossover). We watch it and flag it for you — no silent overpaying.
What are verified reviews?
Every review is checked against a real, phone-authenticated booking, so a rating only exists if someone actually showed up and paid. Seshy asks for the review at the right moment, publishes the praise on your booking page, and sends the constructive notes to you privately — proof of real work, not bought ratings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you want. You keep your paid features through the end of the billing period, then revert to Free.
